Our Post
American Legion PA Post 355, in Bala Cynwyd Pennsylvania is a small “but mighty” Post located at the corner of Conshohocken State Road and Manayunk Road. The American Legion is a veterans and community service organization of nearly 3 million members in more than 14,000 posts worldwide.
Our post was originally formed and chartered after World War I in 1919. Membership met in private homes until a Post was built in 1937. Originally named “Vandiver American Legion Post” after Thomas D. Vandiver who was Killed in Action during WWI, the post was renamed Vandiver-Moylan Post 355 in the 70’s after David Moylan who was killed in action in Vietnam.
The Vandiver-Moylan Post 355 American Legion is proud to have been a veterans' service organization in Bala Cynwyd, PA since 1919 to present.
Post 355 is a veterans’ organization as well as a community resource.
We provide a variety of services and programs with support from our S.A.L. and Auxiliary.
